Lead time
The lead time is the amount of time a work process or order takes from start to finish. It includes all phases, including waiting times, processing times and transport times, and is an important factor for measuring the efficiency of processes in production, logistics or the service sector. A shorter lead time often means greater efficiency and faster response times.
